I'm Simon Kerr, a watercolour artist inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and quiet beauty of the British countryside — and beyond.
I invite my viewer to appreciate those quiet, accidental moments, lost as soon as noticed. On my travels, whether to the local shop, or across the sea, how many times have I, by chance, been in exactly the right spot to witness some coincidental arrangement of beauty? Almost as soon as I realise, it's gone, never to be repeated. I'm inspired to capture those moments, to bring a little calm into hectic lives.
All works are originals on quality watercolour paper. Prints and originals are available through my shop, and commissions are welcome — get in touch to discuss a bespoke piece.
